Itinerary

Days 1 - 2: A Classic Okavango Experience
Having arrived at Botswana’s Maun Airport you will be transferred via shared private charter to rustic Mboma Island Camp, one of the delta’s most economic camps at the heart of the wetland wilderness of the Moremi Reserve. A bird-lover’s paradise, and an adventurer’s dream, Mboma has 5 light Meru-style canvas tents equipped with twin stretcher beds and en suite, open-air bathrooms. Everything about this camp is eco-friendly, from the solar-power, to bucket showers, and chemical toilets. Mboma Island Camp is situated on the floodplains of the meeting point of the Delta’s fresh waters and the Moremi’s savannah terrain, means that Mboma is ideal for both land and water based safaris.
Days 3 - 4: Game Viewing at the Chobe River
After exploring the delta it’s time to turn your attention to the Chobe River. A short flight takes you to Kasane Airport where you’ll be transferred by 4X4 to Elephant Valley Lodge, set far off the beaten track in a forest reserve and overlooking a waterhole well used by elephants. A morning river cruise begins a day here, followed by an afternoon game drive and a spot-lit return to camp. The Chobe River is most famous for its elephants but the area is packed with a wide range of animals, especially during the dry season when game densities are among Africa’s highest.

Days 5 - 6: Enjoy all the Drama of Victoria Falls
A short road transfer takes you across the nearby border into Zimbabwe and a pleasant hour’s drive to Victoria Falls where you’ll be greeted at Batonka Guest Lodge. This intimate guest house is located 2 km from the city centre. The lodge is in walking distance to the Falls. Regular shuttles also run between the lodge and the city centre. The staff will be happy to make any bookings for activities you want to do here, whether it’s whitewater rafting, elephant-back safaris or scenic flights. Other popular activities include walking with lions, Zambezi River cruises and picnic trips to Livingstone Island, perched right at the edge of the thundering falls.
Day 7: End at Victoria Falls
After breakfast at Batonka Guest Lodge you will be transferred by road to Victoria Falls Airport and your outbound flight. If you want to extend your stay at Africa’s adventure capital, just ask us.
