About Xakanaxa Camp
Luxury Tents
- Ceiling Fan & Mist Coolers
- Private Viewing Deck
- En Suite Bathroom
- Recharging Power Points

Overlooking the famous Khwai River, each suite at Xakanaxa is a study in classic tented luxury. An adjoining bathroom ensures comfort and privacy, two qualities reflected in the suite’s wooden deck, affording guests magnificent Okavango Delta views. Guests will also find a wealth of amenities to make their stay extra special: suites come with battery recharging points, gowns and a hair dryer as well as room safe, wet season ponchos and warm liners. But best of all is the tent’s unique cooling system: a conventional ceiling fan is augmented by Xakanaxa’s ‘sprinkler’ system of cooling mist – most welcome in summer!

Activities at Xakanaxa Camp
- Morning Game Drives
- Guided Canoe Safaris
- Afternoon Game Drives
- Game Viewing by Motor Boat

Xakanaxa Camp’s setting in a famously productive area of the Moremi Game Reserve means the focus is firmly on game viewing. Begin the day with an early morning game drive and go in search of prowling big cats; the afternoon could switch to the water and a boating and canoe adventure on the lagoon’s placid waters. The game viewing is excellent all year round and the region is well known for its lion and leopard populations as well as being a hotspot for the rare wild dog. Elephants and buffalo are often seen in large numbers and the entire area is packed with general game and a huge range of birds.
