Days 1 – 2: Discover the Linyanti wetlands
After arriving at Maun Airport, you are escorted to your shared transfer flight. It’s only a short hop to Linyanti, an unspoilt swathe of woods and wetlands, and you’ll soon be settling into your suite at Kings Pool Camp. Set next to an oxbow lake, Kings Pool offers unbridled luxury at the heart of an exclusive-use private reserve. Enjoy night and day game drives with expert guides in search of Linyanti’s famous wild dogs and leopards.
Days 3 – 4: An exclusive Okavango hideaway
Another exclusive-use reserve is your fly-in destination today. Vumbura Plains Camp sits on a private island in the Okavango Delta and offers year-round water activities as well as game drives and walks. Each tented suite has an expansive outdoor viewing deck complete with lounge and dining area as well as plunge pool and shower. You’ll enjoy excellent game viewing in a region famous for its predator sightings and will return to candlelit suppers, served – if you wish – in the privacy of your suite.
Days 5 – 7: Predator deluxe – Mombo
An exclusive-use enclave at the tip of Chief’s Island is where you’ll end this journey. Mombo Camp sits in a region so synonymous with predators that wildlife film-makers have long used this location for their work. The camp radiates a calm elegance, despite its reputation for dramatic game viewing, and its raised suites are havens of indulgence and comfort. Mombo is a land-based camp and all game viewing is conducted in modified 4X4s with expert guides. Why not discover Moremi and ask for a full-day game viewing safari, complete with picnic lunch?
Day 8: The Journey Ends
A week’s worth of game viewing in Botswana’s best wildlife destinations comes to a close today. After breakfast at Mombo and maybe a last game drive, you’ll fly back to Maun by shared charter for your onward flight. Maun is well connected to airports across Southern Africa and you are only one or two stops away from Victoria Falls, Cape Town and the Kruger National Park. Talk to us about including any one of these iconic destinations on your itinerary.
